Does Medicare pay for care?
|
|
Medicare is a complicated insurance program which pays for some care
under the guidelines the government has established. If a resident
has been in the hospital for three days and the physician orders
therapy we will assess the resident and determine if they qualify for
Medicare. If they do then Medicare will pay for a certain number of
days. It is up to Medicare to decide when they will no longer pay.
We are happy to visit with you about Medicare and help you find the
answers to your questions.
