OPPORTUNITIES
Clearwater Retirement Community, Inc. is a not-for-profit retirement center. We
have a skilled Medicare/Medicaid nursing home, an Assisted Living, four
independent apartments and two homes. As a not for profit company we ensure all
money goes toward the care of the residents, the upkeep of the facilities and
maintaining competent staff.
There are many opportunities to give to CRC- Volunteering, Memorials, Planned
Giving and Donations are ways to support this wonderful retirement center and
remember gifts are tax deductible.

Volunteering
|

By volunteering your time and talents you benefit the center and give
joy to the residents. If you have a talent for planting,
entertaining, crafts or visiting with people we would love to have
you visit with us. Right now we need volunteers to help with
flowers, games, reading, sightseeing tours and just about anything
you would like to share with us.

Memorials
|
|
Leaving a memorial in a resident's name is a wonderful way to
celebrate their life and help other residents for years to come. One
example is a gentleman who loved our aviary and left a memorial for
the care of the birds which is quite costly. Another family gave us
a piano in their parent's names. Money, gifts, living memorials and
planned giving are just a few of the ways you can remember your loved
one.

Donations
|
New nursing homes today are very different from the homes built in
1969. Today each hall is a separate unit with its own nursing
station, dining area, recreation room and staff assigned just to that
hall. Residents have far more freedom than in the old days with
opportunities to control their lives as much as possible. We are
finding the residents are much happier as is the staff.
We are planning to renovate the Manor to bring it as up to date as
possible with donations, grants, memorials and gifts. We estimate
the cost of this project to be about $250,000. Your contribution
will be tax deductible and you will have the satisfaction of seeing
your money create a wonderful place for the elderly to live.

Employment
|
CRC is always looking for CNA's and CMA's who love working with the
elderly. We thrive to create an atmosphere of profound dignity for
every resident.
