Therapy
Therapy is provided by Lighthouse Therapy. Our services are locally
based and focused only in this area. As a result we are responsive to your needs
and strive to be part of your team. We provide extensive quality assurance
programs to ensure the best care and communication possible. Our staff is
knowledgeable in all functions of care and responsibilities within a skilled

Services Provided:
- Inpatient therapy provided in skilled nursing home, assisted living, home
plus, and independent apartments. Our focus is on returning individuals to
their highest level of functional independence as efficiently as
possible.
- Outpatient therapy services provided to help people with pain resulting
from injuries related to sports, workman's comp or other medical conditions.
Our emphasis is on using patient education, modalities, and hands on
techniques to help decrease pain and restore function.

Types of Therapy:
- Physical Therapy -
A comprehensive physical therapy program which is capable of accommodating
varied diagnoses. Physical therapy services are provided in accordance with
Medicare guidelines. Our therapists work hand in hand with restorative
services and nursing to provide the most effective, and all inclusive
care.
- Occupational Therapy -
Offering a wide variety of services such as ADL education, splinting,
positioning, education in joint protection, and energy conservation
techniques. Occupational therapy along with physical therapy accommodates
the resident by offering a home assessment prior to discharge from the
facility.
- Speech/Language Pathology -
Therapy available for individuals experiencing difficulty with communicating
basic needs, formulating sentences and complex thoughts, understanding
reading, writing, and articulating. Evaluation and treatment for individuals
with swallowing difficulty is also provided as indicated.
